Found in 1972, Yoga Centre Toronto promotes active living and well-being through Iyengar Yoga. This style of Yoga is for everyone. Our students come from all walks of life, ranging in age from 8 to 85.
Our teachers are internationally certified and undertake continuing professional development. Students work at their own level under the guidance of an experienced teacher to increase mobility, stability, strength and alignment.
Our teaching follows direct instruction which improves concentration and draws one’s attention inward, quieting and integrating the mind and body. Students are encouraged to develop a home practice, building activity and the benefits of yoga into their daily routine.
We offer weekly general classes plus specialty classes for back care, cardiac, concussion, cancer recovery and adapted practices for chronic illnesses such as MS and chronic fatigue.
